Meek Mill released from Philadephia prison today. Freedom at last!


Meek Mill,was released from a Philadelphia prison. The rapper had been incarcerated since July, serving a three- to six-month sentence for violating probation, stemming from a 2008 gun and drug conviction. Meek mill had served eight months in jail and began five years of probation in the fall of 2009.

Meek Mill will not be able to travel outside of Pennsylvania until he completes community service and treatment programs, so for now, touring will not be possible.
His buddy Kevin Hart tweets at him, giving him a welcome speech. He tweets:
Welcome home @meekmill ....P.S u ugly ass shit man. Philadelphia until l I die...now get to work and put on for your city.
Mill made his debut in 2012 with the album Dreams and Nightmares.
